Day 3

Grinnell, Iowa to Sterling, Colorado.

This morning we had decided we would try and stop earlier and camp.  It didn't end up that way at all.  About 6pm local time, just as we were thinking about looking for a campground for the night we ran in to some stormy weather.

It got so bad we could barely see the road for a while.  Of course it also was  part of the highway that was under construction.  So there was only a single lane either way and big transport trucks coming toward us spraying all the water up.

It started letting up as we got into Colorado.

Day 2

Flint, Michigan to Grinnell, Iowa.

Fairly uneventful day.
The highlights of the day were putting up with Breah and Caelan getting bored and fighting. and seeing this Jeep.

We decided not to go wherever they were going.

The plan

The plan was to leave on Tuesday the 4th.  However, Breah wasn't feeling well so I took her to the Dr. instead.  Then we had to wait until she had some tests Wednesday morning before we could leave.

We finally got away sometime after lunch Wednesday.
